Commissioning process...

Once initial contact has been made, a meeting will be arranged if practical, and the planning process begins. Specialist professional advice from us, plus input from you, will lead to a design concept.

You can choose from many available woods and veneers, occasionally a laminated veneer is more suitable in terms of cost when a more exotic material is required - see the Woods/Veneers section. Finishes range from hand french polishing, wax finishes to a modern durable lacquered spray finish. A wide range of furniture fittings, from period style to modern can be used to complement the style of each individual piece.

Once a design has been agreed and a final selection of materials has been made, a delivery date will be estimated and a firm price given for the project, we will then expect the client to submit a 50% deposit. As this deposit will be used to purchase the necessary materials, it is not normally refundable.
